Diabetes Classes
One of the finest community resources for the education and prevention of diabetes is Rex Diabetes Education Center. Located on the Rex Healthcare of Cary campus, 1515 SW Cary Parkway, Suite 200, Rex Diabetes Education Center strives to educate members of our community about diabetes and all aspects of good health.
Knowing that diabetes can be a silent disease - many people have it for years and do not even know it - the focus on education and prevention is paramount. Certified diabetes educators who are registered dietitians at Rex Diabetes Education Center are a wonderful resource for those diagnosed with pre-diabetes and diabetes as well as those who are looking to reduce their risk factors and make overall health improvements.
Rex Diabetes Education Center is proud to be recognized by the American Diabetes Association for meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-management Education. The certified diabetes educators at Rex assist people of all ages in developing the right individualized plan for managing the challenges that come with having diabetes.
