Bariatric Surgery Is Option for Some Patients Suffering Obesity (Part 1)
Millions of Americans suffer from obesity, a disease where excess body fat can negatively affect health.  Bariatric surgery, also known as weight loss surgery, includes a number of surgical procedures designed to treat obesity by modifying the gastrointestinal tract. Rex Healthcare offers bariatric surgery (lap band and gastric bypass) for patients who have been unable to lose weight through traditional methods of diet and exercise.
