Rex Healthcare is proud of the many ways that our efforts to provide excellent patient care, be a good community partner and honor a quality workforce are recognized. We’re proud to share the following honors, just to name a few:

  • Nationally recognized by HealthGrades as one of the top 5% of hospitals to earn the Distinguished Hospital Award for Patient Safety. Rex also won the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence. Only 80 hospitals in the nation, 2 in NC, have won both awards for 2008. 
  • Rex Healthcare named Thomson Top 100 Hospitals national award winner – only hospital in North Carolina to receive this prestigious recognition in 2008
  • Received national recognition for best use of broadcast for its live health education television show, Rex On Call, by PR Week in 2008
  • Recognized by the Triangle Business Journal in 2008 for excellence in healthcare with five Healthcare Heroes recipients
  • The National Research Corporation (NRC) named Rex Healthcare a Consumer Choice Award winner
