Weight Loss (Bariatric) Surgery

At Rex, we currently have seven bariatric surgeons who perform several types of weight loss surgery. This includes the LapBand which can be performed on an outpatient basis at our main campus, or at Rex Surgery Centers of Cary and Wakefield. Rex has state-of-the-art operating rooms and staff trained in bariatric surgery. There are eight inpatient rooms at Rex Hospital designed to meet the needs of weight loss surgery patients.
